The SPEER Energy Code Program works to promote compliance with state energy codes through education, training, outreach and peer support to code officials, builders, and contractors. Our goal is to make homes and buildings in Texas and Oklahoma more energy efficient, durable, healthier and more affordable to own and operate.
SPEER’s efforts include providing energy code training through webinars or in-person training, creating online educational resources, facilitating regional Collaborative groups, and supporting a network of local Energy Codes Ambassadors.
