Local governments are demonstrating leadership through energy efficiency. Energy management programs and efficiency projects enable cities to better maintain their buildings and equipment while saving public monies in utility expenses. SPEER’s Local Governments Program support city energy management by facilitating sharing of best practices in energy efficiency, while strengthening relationships among local governments.
