SPEER/CAPCOG Workshop – Save Energy, Cut Costs: Funding & Technical Resources for Public Buildings and Community Spaces
Join us for the first workshop in the Energy and Water Conservation Summer Workshop Series.
This virtual workshop is designed for water districts, park and recreation departments, cities, state agencies, and other public entities interested in lowering utility costs, improving building performance, and learning about practical energy and water management resources available in Texas. This workshop is presented in partnership with the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG), the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), and the South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER).
The session will feature three approximately 20-minute presentations with time for questions and discussion. Participants will learn about funding opportunities for energy efficiency retrofits at eligible community centers, no-cost preliminary energy assessments and technical assistance for eligible public entities, and energy and water reporting resources that support planning, compliance, and utility management.
