Join us for the second workshop in the Powering Texas Energy Strategies: Summer Workshop Series!
This hybrid workshop & tour will focus on practical energy and water conservation strategies for Texas communities. As Central Texas continues to grow, the workshop will examine state planning efforts, the role of nonprofits in the region, and resources available to help public agencies improve efficiency and resilience. This workshop includes a tour of the Wilkerson Center, presentations from experts and a light breakfast.
Tour: The Wilkerson Center for Colorado River Education provides elementary-school students with information to inspire them to be future River Stewards. This is a unique, immersive, and memorable experience that emphasizes the importance of protecting the Texas’s economic and environmental lifeblood—the Texas Colorado River.
