Powering Texas Energy Strategies: Summer Workshop Series – Conservation in Practice: Energy & Water Strategies for Texas

August 11 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for the second workshop in the Powering Texas Energy Strategies: Summer Workshop Series!

This hybrid workshop will focus on practical energy and water conservation strategies for Texas communities. As Central Texas continues to grow, this session will examine state planning efforts, the role of nonprofits in the region, and the resources available to help public agencies improve efficiency and resilience. Attendees will gain ideas that can support local planning, implementation, and stronger connections between conservation goals and community needs.

This workshop is presented in partnership with the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG), the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), and the South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER). Coffee, breakfast/lunch, and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.

Location: LCRA Red Bud Center, 3601 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, TX 78703

There is also a virtual ticket option. More info & registration here.
