SPEER’s Executive Director, Doug Lewin, accepts the “Outstanding Non-Profit Organization” award at the CATEE conference on December 3, 2015.
We’re pleased to announce that last month, at the Clean Air Through Energy Efficiency conference (CATEE), SPEER was honored with the conference’s annual “Outstanding Non-Profit Organization” award. Each year, the Texas A&M’s Energy Systems Lab, which hosts the CATEE Conference, recognizes individuals, organizations, and companies that have demonstrated outstanding and/or unique contributions to clean air through energy efficiency and renewable energy actions or programs. This award recognizes SPEER’s efforts that have contributed to improving the impact that buildings and development have on cleaner air and environmental quality for Texas, especially its urban regions.
