SPEER: Texas power costs could have been slashed $200 million in just 5 days

“…a recent SPEER report says that “Texas electric consumers could have saved more than $200 million if a modest number of them had reduced their demand on just five days in 2012 and 2013”.  The South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency (SPEER) recently ‘published a Smart Energy Roadmap for Texas, a series of recommendations to make it easier for Texans to save money on their electric bills. This report was published as a follow-up to the Update on Smart Energy in Texas.'”
