SPEER in partnership with the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) has launched a statewide Texas Energy Engagement Group to assess local government and public sector energy needs. We invite you to participate in our Statewide Texas public sector survey and provide valuable insight into important issues such as Texas’ energy equity, resiliency, and sustainability to produce an understanding of what cities and local governments find essential for efficiency and energy strategies and programs. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with cities and schools across the state and aid in creating future programs and tools. Meetings will ideally be in person; however, call-in/virtual options may also be provided. The findings will be compiled into a report provided to all participants and SECO.
The participants in the survey and engagement group will include:
– Cities
– Counties
– Higher education (community colleges and universities)
– Council of governments
– Community-based non-profits
At SPEER, our sole purpose is to help you and your organization move toward a more energy-efficient end-state. Our team supports a robust member network with training, peer support, and advocacy. Join us!
