These sponsorships are important to us and help continue the sustaining efforts of SPEER as we educate and support energy efficiency across the Texas and Oklahoma region. As extreme weather continues to wreak havoc on our aging grid, especially our transmission and distribution system, change has never been more necessary. ERCOT’s territory set 11 peak demand records in the summer of 2022 with the majority caused by the inefficiency of homes and small businesses. By supporting SPEER, you are helping accelerate the adoption of energy efficient products & services while improving the environment, helping reduce consumer’s electricity cost, and stabilizing the grid.
