City of Dallas Issues Energy Efficiency Day Proclamation

SPEER is part of a nationwide network that launched National Energy Efficiency Day, which is now in its 7th year. The purpose is to promote the many benefits of energy efficiency—including financial, health, and climate. We’re proud to announce that the City of Dallas is the first entity in Texas to issue an EEDay proclamation for 2022! Mayor Eric Johnson recognizes that energy efficiency is one of the cheapest, quickest, and cleanest ways to meet a city’s energy needs, avoid dangerous pollution, and reduce utility bills for residents and businesses in our community. Are you interested in having your elected official issue a proclamation or want to find other ways you can get involved and support this year’s EEDay? Head over to the website for more info.
