Texas A&M Energy Systems Lab Technical Review of the 2015 IECC and IRC Energy Codes

The Texas A&M Energy Systems Lab (ESL) recently completed their mandated technical review of the 2015 IECC and IRC energy codes. As fully expected, they found the 2015 energy codes to be more stringent than the 2009 codes, as the existing code reference point. The attachments to the report include a list of all of the public comments received and responses by the ESL, along with the determined impacts on the stringency of the code by all of the proposed amendments received.
