Mr. Mazria has reshaped the national and international dialogue on energy to incorporate urban planning, building design and the ‘Building Sector’. He is the founder of Architecture 2030, a non-partisan, non-profit organization developing building sector solutions to the energy and climate crises. He developed and issued The 2030 Challenge, a measured and achievable strategy to dramatically reduce energy consumption and emissions by the year 2030. He speaks nationally and internationally on the subjects of architecture, design, energy, and economics and has taught at several universities including the University of New Mexico, University of Oregon, University of Colorado-Denver, and UCLA.

About the Summit
SPEER’s Energy Efficiency Summit will feature some of the brightest minds and most innovative companies and organizations in the world of energy efficiency, all focused on one question: how do we increase and accelerate the adoption of energy efficiency in Texas and Oklahoma?
This Summit is designed to be a working meeting to create action items in three key areas (see below). It is targeted to industry and thought leaders in energy efficiency, both nationally and regionally, to focus on strategies to advance energy efficiency and increase the market penetration of demand side resources in Texas and Oklahoma.
